Babies and children with cow's milk protein allergy need a formula whose protein their immune system does not react to. This range offers three approaches: hydrolysed rice protein (Neuma Plus R1 and R2), free amino acids (the Alpha Helix family) and semi-elemental formulas (Pepticare Junior and Anogen).

What is the difference between a hydrolysed and an amino acid formula?
A hydrolysed formula contains protein broken into small pieces. An amino acid formula contains no intact protein at all, only free amino acids, and is usually chosen for severe or multiple food allergies.
