Indications and Warnings

Indication

Leu - A is an amino acid-based Leucine free powdered formula for infants suffering from Hyperleucinemia. Leu- A is an amino acid based Leucine free

Warnings and precautions

Use under medical supervision only.
Not for parenteral use.
Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition
Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilization.
Never use a microwave oven to warm formula.
Serious burns can result.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

Pour required volume of hot previously boiled water (cooled down to 50 °C) into a feeding bottle.
Add measured amount of Leu A formula and, if applicable, normal infant formula.
Close the bottle and shake well until the powder dissolves.
Before feeding, ensure that the formula is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the inside of your wrist.
Prepare bottle feed always fresh and discard unfinished feeds.
Please watch dental care star ng with baby´s first teeth, especially before bedtime.

Oral / Tube Feeding
The recommended dosage and timing of intake is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietian or clinician only.
Mixing ratio - Depending on specific needs of each individual, preparation will vary as prescribed by healthcare personnel, Dietitians or medical practitioner.

Storage and Product Details

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C).
Always replace the lid after use.
Once opened, use within two weeks.
