Indication
- Potato Puree is a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) for use under medical supervision and is designed for the dietary management of patients with inherited metabolic disorders (e.g. Phenylketonuria), or conditions requiring a low protein diet.
Warnings and precautions
- For oral use only.
- Must be used under medical supervision for patients who require a low-protein diet (e.g. Phenylketonuria), or conditions requiring a low protein diet.
- Once reconstituted, do not boil.
- Once reconstituted, use within two hours, or store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Add ½ teaspoon of salt to 350ml of water and bring to a boil.
- Remove pot from heat and add 48g of potato puree.
- Stir using a whisk.
- Just before serving, add a piece of margarine or butter at own discretion.
