Indication
- For the dietary management of patients with diabetes and impaired glucose tolerance.
Warnings and precautions
- Use under medical supervision.
- Not recommended for children under 11 years old.
- Not for parenteral use.
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows’ milk intolerance.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition in children under 11 years of age.
- In patients receiving some medications, care should be taken regarding drug interactions.
- Do not add or dilute the feed unless recommended by a doctor, dietitian, or healthcare professional.
- Once opened, should be consumed within 4 hours. Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.
Directions for use
- Oral / Tube Feeding
- Ready to use for tube feeding purposes.
- Administer at room temperature for tube feeding.
- Do not add or dilute the feed unless recommended by a doctor, dietitian, or healthcare professional.
- To meet the patient’s nutritional needs and tolerance, the volume/flow rate should be adjusted accordingly.
- A enteral feeding pump along with an enteral feeding system may be used to deliver the feed to the patient.
Storage and Product Details
- Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool, dry place below 23C. (Not in direct sunlight.)
