Indication
- For the dietary management of patients with diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance, and at risk of disease related malnutrition.
Warnings and precautions
- Use under medical supervision.
- For Enteral use only (orally or through tube feeding)
- Not recommended for children under three years old.
- Not for parenteral use.
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- Not recommended for children under three years old.
- Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition in children under six years of age.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.
- Once opened, consume within 4 hours, or keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.

- GlucoSip Plus 1.5 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of patients with diabetes and impaired glucose tolerance.
- Energy-rich and nutritionally complete, ready-to-drink milkshake style supplement for use under medical supervision.
- GlucoSip Plus 1.5 is suitable as a supplement to the diet or can be used as a sole source of nutrition for patients who cannot or will not eat sufficient quantities of everyday food and drink to meet their daily nutritional requirements.
- Alternatively, it can be used as a nutritional supplement to everyday food and drink.
- It can be used for the following indications: Nutritionally complete for vitamins and minerals excluding electrolytes in 1400ml calculated using the UK Reference Nutrient intake for men age 19-49yrs.
- Referral to a dietitian is recommended when there is any doubt about an individual patient's nutritional requirements.
- 1 - 2 servings per day, unless otherwise indicated by a clinician, dietician or medical practitioner.
- GlucoSip Plus 1.5 should be used under the supervision of a health care professional.
Storage and Product Details
- Store in a cool, dry place. (Not in direct sunlight.) It is sterilized in U.H.T. system.
- Once opened, consume it within 4 hours, or keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
