Indications and Warnings
Indication
- GENTLE START STAGE 1 RTF is an infant milk designed to meet all the specific nutritional requirements of the infants from birth to 6 months if breastfeeding is not applied.
Warnings and precautions
- Breast milk is the best food for infants and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy.
- Good maternal nutrition is essential to prepare and maintain breastfeeding.
- If breastfeeding is not applied, an infant milk may be used according to health professional advice.
- Must be used under medical supervision.
- Not suitable for parenteral use
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.
- For oral use only.
- Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
- Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilization.
- Never use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns can result.

Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.
Directions for use
- Oral / Tube Feeding
- Soap and water before preparing, wash hands thoroughly with bottle for feeding.
- Shake bottle and remove cap.
- It is ready for direct consumption, and no additional preparation is needed.
- Attach nipple unit (not included).
- Do not freeze the product.
- Consume within one hour after opening.
- The product should only be used after the advice of the doctor as to the need for its use and the proper method of use.
- Infants shall receive complementary foods from the age of six months and over.
Storage and Product Details
- Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) away from direct sunlight.
- Always replace the lid after use.
- Once opened, use within three weeks.
