Indication

Gentle Start Preterm Powder is intended for premature post-discharge babies. Gentle Start Preterm Powder promotes excellent catch-up growth during a premature baby's first 12 months of life.

Warnings and precautions

Must be used under medical supervision.
Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition
Not suitable for parenteral use
Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia
Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.
For oral use only.
Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilisation.
Never use a microwave oven to warm formula.
Serious burns can result.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

Wash hands thoroughly.
Pour required volume of hot previously boiled water (cooled down to 50 °C) into a feeding bottle
Add two level scoop (9.0 g) to each 50ml of water.
Shake the bottle until the powder has dissolved completely.• Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
