Indications and Warnings
Indication
- GENTLE START (Nupco 3) is specially developed to help meet the specific nutritional needs of as a part of a healthy, balanced diet. Made from cows' milk, it provides more of those nutrients that diets may be lacking, including iron, calcium, and vitamin D.
Warnings and precautions
- Must be used under medical supervision.
- Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition
- Not suitable for parenteral use
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia
- Not suitable for patients with cows' milk intolerance.
- For oral use only.
- Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilisation.
- Never use a microwave oven to warm formula.
- Serious burns can result.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- 1 Scoop (4.3g of powder): 30ml cooled, previously boiled water.
- Wash hands thoroughly.
- Pour required amount of previously boiled water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
- Add measured amount of GENTLE START (Nupco 3) powder (scoop provided).
- Shake the bottle (10-15 seconds), until the powder dissolves completely.
- Before feeding, check the correct temperature.
- Always prepare bottle feed fresh and discard unfinished feeds.
- Please monitor dental care, especially before bedtime..
