Indication

• GENTLE START 2 (Nupco 2) is a follow-on milk formula specifically designed to meet nutritional need of infants from 6 months to 1 year of age as a part of s diversified diet that should be introduced gradually according to the advice of a healthcare professional.

Warnings and precautions

• Breast milk is the best food for infants and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy.
• Good maternal nutrition is essential to prepare and maintain breastfeeding.
• If breastfeeding is not applied, an infant milk may be used according to health professional advice.
• Must be used under medical supervision.
• Not suitable for parenteral use
• Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia
• Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.
• For oral use only.
• Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilisation.
• Never use a microwave oven to warm formula.
• Serious burns can result.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

• 1 Scoop (4.3g of powder): 30ml cooled, previously boiled water.
• Wash hand thoroughly.
• Clean and sterilize the feeding bottle, the teat, and all used materials.
• Boil clean drinking water 5 minutes then leave to cool down to 40°C, or heat clean fresh bottled water with the low mineral content to 40°C.
• Pour required amount of hot water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
• Add measure correct quantity of GENTLE START 2 powder into the feeding bottle using only the measuring scoop provided in the tin.
• Close the feeding bottle, shake well until the powder dissolved completely.
• Let formula cool to lukewarm temperature (37°C), test the temperature by shaking a few drops onto the side of your wrist.
• Prepare bottle feed always fresh and discard unfinished feeds.
• Please monitor dental care, especially before bedtime.

• Always ensure the scoopfuls are levelled and that the powder is not packed.

Storage and Product Details

• Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) away from direct sunlight.
• Always replace the lid after use.
• Once opened, use within three weeks.
