GENTLE START 1 is an infant milk designed to meet all the specific nutritional requirements of the infants from birth to 6 months if breastfeeding is not applied.

Warnings and precautions

Breast milk is the best food for infants and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy.
Good maternal nutrition is essential to prepare and maintain breastfeeding.
If breastfeeding is not applied, an infant milk may be used according to health professional advice.
Must be used under medical supervision.
Not suitable for parenteral use
Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia
Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.
For oral use only.
Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Do not boil mixture or use terminal sterilisation.
Never use a microwave oven to warm formula.
Serious burns can result.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

1 Scoop (4.3g of powder): 30ml cooled, previously boiled water.
Wash hand thoroughly.
Clean and sterilize the feeding bottle, the teat, and all used materials.
Boil clean drinking water 5 minutes then leave to cool down to 40°C, or heat clean fresh bottled water with the low mineral content to 40°C.
Pour required amount of hot water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
Add measure correct quantity of GENTLE START 1 powder into the feeding bottle using only the measuring scoop provided in the tin.
Let formula cool to lukewarm temperature (37°C), test the temperature by shaking a few drops onto the side of your wrist.
Close the feeding bottle, shake well until the powder dissolved completely.
Please monitor dental care, especially before bedtime.

GENTLE START 1 is an infant milk designed to meet all the specific nutritional requirements of the infants from birth to 6 months if breastfeeding is not applied.
Prepare bottle feed always fresh and discard unfinished feeds.
Always ensure the scoopfuls are levelled and that the powder is not packed.

Storage and Product Details

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) away from direct sunlight.
Always replace the lid after use.
Once opened, use within three weeks.
