- Not recommended for children under 3 years of age unless recommended by a physician or healthcare professional.
- Not for parenteral or intravenous use.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows' milk intolerance.

Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.
Directions for use
- Oral / Tube Feeding
- Energie Shake Plus Fiber 1.5 kcal is designed as a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition.
- Energie Shake Plus Fiber 1.5 kcal is suitable as a supplement to the diet or can be used as a sole source of nutrition for patients who cannot or will not eat enough everyday food and drink to meet their daily nutritional requirements.
- Alternatively, it can be used as a nutritional supplement to everyday food and drink.
- It can be used for the following indications: Short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre- operative preparation of patients who are under-nourished, proved inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, dysphagia, bowel fistulas, CAPD, hemodialysis, and disease-related malnutrition.
- 1 - 2 servings per day, unless otherwise indicated by a clinician, dietician, or medical practitioner.
- Energie Shake Plus Fiber 1.5 kcal should be used under the supervision of a health care professional.
Storage and Product Details
- Once opened, consume immediately, if not, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool, dry place. (Not in direct sunlight.) Energie Shake Plus Fiber 1.5 kcal is sterilized in U.H.T. system.
