- For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition.
Warnings and precautions
- Use under medical supervision.
- For Enteral use only (orally or through tube feeding)
- Contains soya, milk and fish oil.
- Use as a sole source of nutrition for children weighing 8 - 30kg or 1 - 10 years old.
- Not for parenteral (intravenous) use.
- Do not use in any child under 1 year of age.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- In patients receiving some medications, there may be the risk of drug nutrient interactions (e.g. warfarin and vitamin K).
- Many nutritional supplements and feeds contain sucrose or other sugars.
- It is important that patients who are taking nutritional supplements observe good oral hygiene.
- It is suggested that patients consult with their dentists for further advice.

- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.

- Energie Shake® Jr Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition.
- Energie Shake® Jr Fibre is a complete sip feed and can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement to everyday food and drink.
- It can be used for the following indications: It is suitable for children weighing 8 - 30kg or 1 - 10 years old who require nutritional support.
- Failure to thrive, Catch up growth, Post-operative, Physical or mental disability, Malignant disease, Burns, Trauma and Disease related malnutrition.
- 1 - 2 servings per day, unless otherwise indicated by a clinician, dietician, or medical practitioner
- Volume-flow rate of the feed should be adjusted to meet the patients' nutritional needs and tolerance.
- Energie Shake® Jr Fibre is best served chilled unless tube feeding is indicated but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
Storage and Product Details
- Once opened, consume within 4 hours, or keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool, dry place (Not in direct sunlight.) UHT - sterilized.
