Ingredients
Water, maltodextrin, vegetable oil (rapeseed, sunflower), sucrose, milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate (from cow’s milk), soy fibre, MCT oil, minerals (calcium citrate, potassium phosphate, sodium chloride, magnesium citrate, zinc sulphate, zinc acetate, manganese sulphate, sodium fluoride, copper sulphate, iron lactate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, sodium molybdate and chromium chloride), flavouring, acidity regulator (potassium hydroxide), emulsifier (soya lecithin), fish oil, stabilizer (xanthan gum), vitamins (A, K, E, D, C, B1, B2, niacin, B6, folic acid, B12, biotin and pantothenic acid), choline chloride, inositol, taurine, L-carnitine, and β-carotene.
Allergens: Contains Soya and Milk.
Indications and Warnings
Indication
- For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition. Energie shake Complete is suitable as a supplement to the diet or can be used as a sole source of nutrition for patients who require reduced caloric intake and daily requirement from vitamins and minerals. Can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement to everyday food and drink.
Warnings and precautions
- Use under medical supervision.
- For Enteral use only (orally or through tube feeding)
- Not recommended for children under one years old.
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows’ milk intolerance.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- Use with caution in children under 11 years old and do not use for children under 1 years of age.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.
Directions for use
- Oral / Tube Feeding
- For enteral use only.
- Energie Shake Jr. Complete is best served chilled unless tube feeding is indicated.
Storage and Product Details
- Once opened, consume it within 4 hours, or keep refrigerated and use it within 24 hours.
- Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool, dry place. (Not in direct sunlight.)
- Energie Shake Complete is sterilised in U.H.T. system.
