Indications and Warnings
Indication
- Designed as a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition. It can be used for the following indications: Short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are under-nourished, proved inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, dysphagia, bowel fistulas, CAPD, hemodialysis, and disease-related malnutrition.
Warnings and precautions
- Use under medical supervision
- Not intended for use in children under 11 unless recommended by a physician
- Not for parenteral (I.V.) use
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows’ milk intolerance.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- In patients receiving some medications, care should be taken regarding drug interactions.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.

- Protein-rich and nutritionally complete tube feed can be used as a supplement or as a sole source of nutrition to be used under medical supervision.
Storage and Product Details
- Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool and dry place below 25°C. Once it is opened, should be consumed within 4 hours. Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
