Indications and Warnings
Indication
- Designed as a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition. Protein-rich and nutritionally complete tube feed can be used as a supplement or as a sole source of nutrition to be used under medical supervision. It can be used for the following indications: Short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are under-nourished, proved inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, dysphagia, bowel fistulas, CAPD, hemodialysis, and disease-related malnutrition.
Warnings and precautions
- Suitable as a sole or supplement source of nutrition under medical supervision
- Not intended for use in children
- Not for parenteral use
- Not suitable for patients with soya or cows’ milk intolerance.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- In patients receiving some medications, care should be taken regarding drug interactions.
Instructions for Use
Preparation
- Shake well before opening.
- Best served chilled but can also be served as a warm drink or at room temperature.
- Do not boil.

Storage and Product Details
- Once opened, consume it within 4 hours, or keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.
- Unused contents should be discarded thereafter.
- Store in a cool and dry place below 23°C.
