Ingredients

Maltodextrin, skimmed milk Powder, vegetable oil, milk protein concentrate, flavourings (containing Celery) potato starch, chicken flavouring (vegetable source) containing antioxidant: extracts of rosemary, thickener: cellulose gum, potassium chloride, Dipotassium phosphates, magnesium carbonates, vitamin and mineral premix (potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium ascorbate, vitamin E, ferrous sulphate, niacin, zinc sulphate, vitamin A, pantothenic acid, vitamin D, biotin, vitamin B6, folic acid, manganese sulphate, thiamine, potassium iodide, copper sulphate, vitamin K, vitamin B12, sodium selenite, riboflavin, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate), tricalcium phosphate, dried parsley, colour: curcumin, ground sage, white pepper.

Allergens: Not suitable for patients with cow’s milk intolerance or for those with galactosaemia.

Indications and Warnings

Indication

Short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished, proved inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, dysphagia, bowel fistulas and disease- related malnutrition.

Warnings and precautions

For Enteral use only (orally or through tube feeding)
Must be used under medical supervision.
Energie Shake Soup is designed as a supplement to a normal diet and is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Not for parenteral use.
Not suitable for children under 11 years old.
Not suitable for patients with cow’s milk intolerance or for those with galactosaemia.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

Each serving of Energie Shake Soup should be reconstituted with 200ml (1/3 pint) of hot water.
Add a hot water (50ml) into the cup.
Empty one sachet of Energie Shake Soup into a cup.
Stir to make a smooth cream with a fork or whisk.
Add the remaining 150ml of water and whisk to make the soup of 200ml.
Serve warm (not boiled) when fully mixed.
Consume at preferred temperature.

Directions for use

Oral
Once reconstituted, Energie Shake Soup should be consumed as soon as it has reached a safe and comfortable temperature for drinking.
Stir before drinking.
Recommended dosage is 1-2 sachets per day.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C (not in direct sunlight).
