دواعي الاستخدام

• Pre-Op is used in the pre-operative dietary management of patients undergoing surgery (ERAS PROTOCOL), but additional fluid should be advised. To be determined by a clinician or dietitian depending as per the recommendations of a healthcare professional.

• Use under medical supervision only.
• Suitable from 3 years of age onwards.
• Not suitable for intravenous use.
• For Enteral use only (orally or through tube feeding)
• Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition
• Use with caution in children.
• Use with caution in patients with diabetes Mellitus.
• Use with caution in patients with delayed gastric emptying.

طريقة الاستخدام

التحضير

• Pour one 50g sachet into a cup or jug.
• Pour 400ml of liquid into the cup or jug and stir continuously until dissolved.
• Pour the drink into a large glass or beaker and drink.

• Oral / Tube Feeding
• Each hospital may have their own recommended time to consume pre-op, so it is advised to check with your healthcare professional.
• Mixing Ratio: To be determined by the healthcare professional and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
• It is recommended that contents are used immediately once opened.
